Shanty Bay is known for it's sandy bottom. The sandy bottom helps maintain a higher visibility than many other silt bottomed dive sites around. Great for practicing skills and training, shanty bay offers a variety of entry methods (beach and dock). Many divers have assisted in making the underwater dive experience fun and exciting by designing some destination sites, providing you know where to look! The large public dock is great for preparing gear.
